RMB14 heating tape

RMB14 heating tape is a tape ready to be laid (standard lengths from 1m to 21,6m). Especially made to prevent pipes and palm trees from freeze, its fast and easy laying does not requires any tool.

If you need a length longer than 21,6m, just connect several lengths together (up to 140m). Please find hereunder 8 steps to prevent a palm tree from frost:

1 - Wrap around the trunck a protective linen or jute fabrics.
2 - Lay the RMB14 heating tape by wraping it around the truck every 30 centimetres from top to bottom.
3 - Set the thermostat at the coldest place (North side).
4 - Cover again the trunck with linen or jute fabrics.
5 - Cover again with a plastic sheet.
6 - Make sure every every connection is set over 20cm up from ground.
7 - Supply through a 30mA electricaldifferential protection.
8 - Stick labels « ruban chauffant sous tension » down the platic sheet.
